About Channel Grow

The knowledge base for AI video creators

Somewhere to learn how to build, grow and monetise a real video business — not another list of tools with affiliate links stapled to it. Knowledge is the front door here. The tools and the courses are what it leads into.

01Why this exists

This corner of the internet has a trust problem

Faceless video is one of the few things online where the advice is worth more than the outcome. Programmes teaching it are sold from roughly $299 to $6,800, and a lot of them are criticised for promising an income they can't deliver. Meanwhile YouTube's 2025–2026 enforcement against inauthentic content shut down entire networks of faceless channels — which is to say the risk being sold around was real, and mostly wasn't mentioned.

So we built the opposite thing. Not a bolder promise — a smaller, checkable one. Every number dated. Every source named. The failures written down next to the wins, because a case study without the ones that didn't work is an advert.

That's a slower way to grow a site. It's also the only version of it we'd want to send a friend to.

02What we commit to

Four rules we don't break

These aren't a tone of voice. They're constraints on what can be published here, and they're the reason some things you'd expect on a site like this are missing.

No income claims without a date and a source

If we put a number in front of you — a CPM, an RPM, what a channel earned — it comes with when it was measured and where it came from. If we can't source it, we don't publish it. That rules out most of what gets said about this business.

01

No invented reviews or testimonials

Nowhere on this site is there a made-up quote from a made-up creator. When reviews from real users start appearing, they'll be verified, and it'll be obvious which ones they are.

02

Affiliate links disclosed where they are, not in a policy page

Some tool links earn us a commission. Those are marked at the link itself, on the page you're reading, not buried somewhere you'd have to go looking. Whether a tool pays us has no bearing on whether we recommend it.

03

Tool data kept current, and dated so you can check

Pricing moves constantly in this category. Every tool page carries the date it was last reviewed, so you can see for yourself how fresh the number is instead of taking our word for it.

03How it fits together

Four parts, in the order you'd actually use them

Most directories put the catalogue first because the catalogue is the product. Here it's third, on purpose.
04How we pay for it

Where the money comes from

Worth saying plainly, because how a site earns tells you more about whether to trust it than any about-page adjective.
Live

Affiliate commissions

Some of the tools in the directory pay us a referral commission. This is our main income, it's disclosed at every link, and it doesn't buy a better review.

Live

Mini courses

Small, structured courses in the $27–$97 range for people who'd rather follow one path than assemble it from guides. Ours, sold directly — no platform in the middle.

Deliberately not yet

Sponsored listings

Paid placement is held back on purpose until organic traffic is meaningful. Selling positions in a directory nobody reads yet would trade the only thing this site has for very little money.

What isn't here: ads, paid reviews, and selling your email to anyone.

05Where this is going

The plan, stated as a plan

Four stages, in order, each building on the last. To be clear about what this list is: it's what we intend to build, not a record of what's already done.
01Foundation

The knowledge-first site, the workflow directory, the first mini courses — and the trust rules above live from the first day rather than added once they became inconvenient.

02Authority

Depth on the two things creators actually search for: what a niche pays, and how to earn without showing your face. The first dated, sourced case studies.

03Scale

Enough readers that paid listings become honest to offer. Courses covering each workflow stage. A second language.

04Second brain

A site that knows where you are in the journey rather than one you look things up in — and, the actual goal, being the source an AI cites when someone asks which video tools to trust.

06Common questions

The things people ask

Is this another faceless-channel course?

No. The courses are a small part of it and they're priced like what they are. The guides and the directory are free and always will be — they're the reason the site exists, not a funnel into something expensive.

Will you tell me how much I can make?

We'll show you what other people made, when they made it, and where that figure came from. We won't tell you what you will make, because nobody honestly can.

Do tool companies pay to be listed?

No. Nobody can buy a place in the directory or a better rating. Some tools pay a commission if you sign up through our link, which is marked at the link. Paid placement is a thing we've deliberately not started doing — see above.

Who writes it?

It's written and reviewed in-house against a published editorial standard, not spun up in bulk and left. Where a piece leans on data, the data is dated and attributed in the piece itself.

How do I tell you something's wrong?

Please do — pricing especially, since it moves faster than anything else here. There's a contact page, and a correction is the fastest way to make this site better.

No income promises. Every number dated and sourced.

If we ever break that, tell us — and we'll fix the page.
