Scripting a Video That Holds Attention
A simple script structure: hook, promise, payoff.
Open with the single most surprising fact you have. That is the hook, and it should land inside the first eight seconds.
Immediately follow it with the promise: what the viewer will know by the end.
Then deliver the payoff in three to five sections. Each section should be able to stand alone as a clip.
Write the script out loud. If a sentence is hard to say, it is hard to listen to.
